MAIN STREET IN BLOOM
May 6 + 7, 2023
Historic Main Street St. Charles, MO
Celebrate Spring on Main Street in Historic St. Charles! Your hosts - the Merchants and Business owners of Main Street. Join us May 6 + 7 on Main Street in St. Charles, MO.
All of Main Street is decked out with flowers to welcome you and the spring season. Capture your best side in the designated photo areas and share that glow with the hashtag #MainStreetInBLOOM.
For the kiddos, craft areas and parades will keep those busy little bees humming. Stay challenged with the Sunflower Hunt and find sunflowers hidden in most shops along Main Street. Be sure to grab an interactive Sun Flower Hunt sticker sheet to track your progress.
The Children’s Parade kicks off at 1:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday complete with a performance by the Lewis and Clark Fife and Drum Corps. The parade start location is at Main Street and Boone's Lick Road then heads north ending at Berthold Square.
Lastly, shake off those winter blues for good with a festive performance from the Maypole Girls! Catch the Maypole Dancers performing Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM at Berthold Square (Main St. and First Capitol).
WHAT TO EXPECT:
We need your VOTE! We have scouted the most skilled and talented local florists who will have floral arrangements on display at Main Street in Bloom.
The floral arrangements will be displayed May 6 and 7 in Kisker Park in front of the gazebo between the 300 and 400 blocks of South Main.

Main Street In Bloom was started in 2017 by a group of Main Street Small Businesses. The idea was to welcome families out for a beautiful weekend of celebrating all that Spring has to offer.
Main Street in Bloom is a Merchant lead event. This means the Main Street Small Businesses plan the event, coordinate activities, and volunteer their time decorating the street.
Many thanks to the SBD and the CVB for their assistance in preparing for this event.
